About Us: The Final Word?
You all have copies of the various "About Us" versions. Using all the contributions so far and whatever other fresh ideas you may have, post a "final" version for us to see. We may need to vote on it!
We are the Writing 12 class of 2007. We are a multi-cultural group of students attending Pearson Adult Learning Center. Here we introduce The Pearson Buzz, an online student newspaper centering on life and school activities. You can find travel information and parenting advice. Looking for some entertainment? Look no further. Our in-class relationship Guru can help you with your love life. Learn where the latest and greatest musical entertainment will be happening. Got a rant or rave you need to get off your chest? Let us know and we’ll make it public. We also run a recipe column and you can look forward to a varied menu with all the flavors of the world from our international students. Our class looks forward to reporting local and not so local human interest stories.
We are mothers. We are fathers. We are writers. we are dreamers. We are students who come from different countries. If you enjoy reading, or have a passion for writing, Please come with us and share your stories in our own place— The Pearson Buzz!
The Pearson Buzz is a place where we, the student writers at Writing 12, exchange our diverse idea, knowledge and experience to improve our communication skill. For more information, please send us a mail here: Contact us

Hi everyone.
I chose the words and the ideas from Olivia, Catherine, Larry, Rosaria and Natalia in the handout.
Former adult teacher who loves island beaches. Happy homebody and family man; once devoted dog owner, now without Tashi, my Tibetan Terrier. I prefer the absurdity of the imagination to the absurdity of imagining nothing.

Oops, guess I messed up here. I don't have copies of other students about us documents.

Stacey,
Your copy would suit the home page as a good general introduction to the paper. Very good. In other words, the lead article the first week.
For "About Us" I'd like to see something shorter and more generic. Maybe Catherine's is too short, but it gets the gist across.

Is it too simple? (I feel so!)
