Here's another version that introduces me using the same structure. Note how it follows my original but provides different details.

Love gazing at the night sky on Denman Island, collecting oysters at low tide, speeding on a bike down a mountain road (all the while hoping not to hit a small stone), chatting with my wife in the evening, the feeling you get when the Canucks score an overtime goal.

Loved my time in university, but haven’t considered going back. Loved my little kids, but they’ve grown up and moved away.

Look at life as a series of adventures; know that chances come one at a time.

Love taking deep breaths of forest air just after a rain, drifting off for a nap while my puppy sleeps on me, reading a good book in bed (I'm into so many at once now), having coffee chats with friends at cafes, the feeling you get when you run to hug an old friend.

Loved playing the drums, but our band disbanded. Loved teaching ESL, but had to quit from burnout.

Look at life so differently from my 20's; see now that I'm not invincible.

Love listening to old music, humming along with Sinatra, reading some of the classics like Hesse’s Siddhartha, playing my guitar while my mother sings (imitating Karen Carpenter), living a life full of art, the feeling of being one with the world, with nature.

Loved rap music, but now it hurts my ears. Loved my electronic gadgets, but now I try to walk away from luxuries.

Look at your self in a mirror, and ask the man some questions; believe him, he knows who you really are.

-Here I Am:

Love surrounding myself with the people I love, sleeping (it’s great when you don’t have anything to do), talking with my “I-thought-Iost-you” kind of friends, the feelings you get when your friend get a surprise present on your birthday.

Loved my time in senior years at high school, but if I had a time machine, I probably don’t want to go back. Loved learning ASL(American Sign Language), but I forgot most of them.

Look back life as a jigsaw puzzle; knowing that my entire life is incomplete.

From Kay:

Love eating fresh crab from the days catch, bikeing up Beach road to the C Shop in early evening for a maple walnut cone, walking my bike back home enjoying the fantastic sunset over the Bay, chatting with my daughter as we enjoy our ice-cream cones, the feeling of being very fortunate to partake in my fill of crab meat topped off with my favorite ice-cream ,all in the delightful company of my daughter.

Loved my 1979 2door Olds Cutlass, traded it in a couple of years ago for a whimpy Pontiac Sunfire

I learned to love my mother before she died.

I look at life on a short term bases, that allows me to drop a lot of old hangups.

Love leaving from a place where it has no more adventure to me, going to a new corner of the world (where it has no more adventure to local as well), talking with a passing by that looks wise and experienced, sharing the story with my husband about how awkward I was, the feeling you get when a lost is found again.

Loved my old campus, but have no chance going back. Loved my mom’s food, but only can taste it over the phone.

Enjoy lift as a luxury dinner; the processing is more significant than the end. (98 words)

Love my cat Garfield can't be without him. He can't speak a word, but no words are needed. We communicate by heart and not by words. Love summer days when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the birds are singing, and the lawn mower is broken. Love going to the beach when the sun is setting. Love the Starry Nights when the sky is clear and the wind is perfect.

Loved my long black hair but its not long anymore. Loved my favorite black dress but it doesn't fit anymore.

Look at the glass as half full not as half empty. . . way of life!
